NON PROFIT ORGANISATIONS
The board of Trusteel is split between its founder who has great insight and vision and its business orientated new executive. A mediator was hired to assesss the situation and called a private meeting with the founder, the executive and 2 board members and a ‘CLEARING THE AIR’ session proved successful and put the company back on track.

 

CONSUMER
Mr Davis has refused to pay Martin the local carpenter until he refinishes a door and several cupboards. This work was not part of the written contract  but the davis's claimed Martin agreed to do these side jobs. Mediation once again found a solution for all parties.

A public hospital has trouble getting patients to pay as some of the costs involved are expensive .With a mediator they work out a streamlined agreement form for incoming patients and a process which may or may not involve the mediator at a later date to meet with the patients to work out a realistic payment schedule

 

NEIGHBOURS
The jones and grangers have both filed complaints against each other claiming harassment. They share a common driveway and have fought about cars, loud music, and torn up lawns for 6 years. The jones valuable oak tree shades the grangers garden and the magistrate refereed them to dispute resolution.

Doris 78 lives alone and complains about three 12 yr olds harassing her and lately the parents have become involved. Accusations include a vandalized garden, confiscated footballs,late night phone calls. The senior citizen centre arranged the mediation.
